Research
I was awarded a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Southampton in 2017 for research undertaken in subcutaneous implantable-cardioverters.
I continue to author medical texts in peer-reviewed medical journals. I have published over 30 peer-reviewed articles. I have presented my own research at international medical conferences and managed grant applications to the National Institute for Health Research collaborating with eminent Professors in Cardiovascular Medicine.
My specific research interests include: subcutaneous implantable cardioverter defibrillators, atrial fibrillation and risk prediction modelling.
I was the Associate Medical Director for Research and Development at Worcestershire Acute Hospital 2018-22.
I am the Principal investigator for a number of national and international cardiovascular trials as well as presenting my own research at international conferences.
